SAT MAY 6TH | Serendipity! A happy accident while you are creating. We are going to play with fabrics and bleach. That’s right, instead of putting colour on our fabrics, we will be taking colour off. What’s under all that colour? That’s Serendipity! Whatever we have at the end of discharging our fabrics, we will make into a small quilt or wall hanging. While we won’t have time to make the quilt as well as discharging on the day, we will make a plan up for each quilt so it gets finished! With Cathy

Full day classes start at 10am and finish at 3pm, unless stated otherwise. The cost is the same as last year...$45. A $10 deposit is required to enrol, at which time you will be given a list of requirements and any other relevant info. Fees will be refunded only due to illness or similar unforeseen circumstances. The $10 deposit is non-refundable unless the class does not go ahead in which case all fees will be refunded.
The Fibre Play group is just that...a place where like-minded people can meet, exchange ideas and try new things. It is not a class as such. Hopefully, we will take turns leading an activity or discussion so everyone will have input. Cost is still $10 for the day! Please book!
We will also continue our Sit N’ Sew day on the first Tuesday of every month from 10am – 12pm. There is a minimal charge of $7.50. Please book!!
Please bring all the items on your list of requirements plus your sewing kit: pins, markers, cutter, ruler, scissors for paper and fabric, etc. If you need to bring your sewing machine, bring your extra feet, sewing kit for machine and instruction book. Please ensure that your machine is in good working order. Time spent fixing machines takes up valuable class time. Bring your list of requirements for each class you have enrolled in and receive a 10% discount when you purchase things for class.
All classes will be held in Pepper Lane classroom at 161 Princes Hwy. next to the shop. We have a fridge and microwave for your use and coffee & tea available. Bring a lite lunch for yourself.
We have tried to bring you a variety of classes and projects to start the year off. We have more up our sleeves for later in the year, so I hope to see many of you at more than one class. Of course, we are always open to suggestions. We will have class schedules here on our new website along with specials and freebies now and then:
Come play with us!
